2. Dedicated video mode

3. Voice status
WhatsApp allows users to send many things in the Status, like text messages, videos, and photos. The latest version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS allows you to send voice status. It is easy to use this voice status feature. Tap the Status tab and then hit the pencil icon to create a status.
And then tap and hold the microphone icon while recording the voice message. You can record a 30-second voice message and then share it with your contacts. Just like when you make text status, you can change the background color for this voice status by tapping the palette icon on top.
4. Status profile rings
In the past, you need to open the Status tab and tap each contact to see their status update. You cannot see who updates their status through the Chats section. Now, WhatsApp allows you to know that your contacts are updating their status through the profile pictures in the Chats section.
If your contacts send a status and you haven’t seen it, the contacts’ profile pictures will get a green ring. When you tap the profile picture, you’ll be directed to the status update. But this feature will be disabled if the contact is in the muted updates list.

5. Picture-in-picture video calls
